Who is Handl for?
Sole traders and small trade businesses in Ireland: electricians first, and also plumbers, heating engineers, maintenance firms and general contractors. If you quote, do the work and invoice, Handl covers that whole loop.
Do I need a card to start the free trial?
No. Sign up with your email and a password and you get 14 days with every feature switched on. You only enter card details if you choose a paid plan, and that payment is handled by Stripe.
What happens when the trial ends?
Choose a plan to keep adding and editing work. If you don't, your account becomes read-only: you can still sign in, view and export your clients, jobs, quotes and invoices, and nothing is deleted. Pick a plan whenever you're ready and everything unlocks straight away.
Does Handl work on my phone?
Yes. Handl runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, using the same account everywhere. Native apps for iPhone and Android are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
Can my staff log in?
Not yet. Each Handl account has one login. You can record staff for timesheets and assign subcontractors to jobs, but separate staff logins aren't available today.
Can I bring my existing customers across?
You can add clients one at a time in a few seconds each, and export your client list to CSV at any time. There's no automatic import from other software yet; if you have a long list, get in touch and we'll talk you through the options.
